A small tyrant flycatcher found in cloudforests from Guatemala to Colombia. While they are flycatchers, they do consume a larger proportion of fruit in their diet than most species in tyrannidae. Their taxonomy is somewhat unresolved with the possibility of the species being split in two - one as the Central American species, one as the South American species.
