NO UK STATUS IUCN Red List: Least Concern 

A species with unresolved taxonomy, with the solitarius subspecies possibly representing it's own species known as the Southern Streaked Flycatcher. They are a larger flycatcher species and will target larger prey such as cicadas, locusts and beetles, as well as small lizards on occasion. They prefer the edges of forests but are not selective about the type being found from mangroves to over 1000ft in altitude.
