NO UK STATUS IUCN Red List: Least Concern

A near endemic of Turkey which is primarily tied to the distribution of Turkish pine, although there has been a recent discovery that at least one population may have adapted to Scots Pine in central Turkey.  Other populations are found on Lesbos and also in the Caucasus mountains, and these are again tied largely to Turkish Pine.  Though not considered threatened currently, the face it is tied specifically to one species makes it very vulnerable to habitat loss.
