Red-masked Parakeet (Psittacara erythrogenys)

A parrot whose native range is Ecuador and Peru but due to escapees has now established into populations in several pockets of the United States. There is no definite take on the source of this population, but they have succeeded in creating a small and expanding population of around 300 individuals in San Francisco.
