The Common Yellowthroat is a distinct and widespread New World Warbler which does precisely what it says on the tin - it's got a bright yellow throat. The males are easily recognisable by the dark mask with a silver upper edge, but the females are a bit less distinctive and are largely olive and pale yellow.
