NO UK STATUS / IUCN Red List: Not Yet Evaluated
A distinctively green species of spider that was first recorded in the UK in 1880, but for the next 113 years it remained limited to London and the surrounding counties. However, as of 1993 it has begun to expand it rang, and its range now expands north well into the midlands. It has been suggested that this species first entered the UK via plants coming into Kew Gardens, presumably from its native range in mainland Europe, Turkey or North Africa.
