Milbert's Tortoiseshell (Aglais milberti)

A relative of our own small tortoiseshell species which is widespread species found over much of the US and stretches of Canada, their flight time varies by habitat and adapt to local conditions. Their food plant is stinging nettle, which itself is a fairly adaptable species thus allowing them a broad distribution.
